Share Kai brings together the Social Table and the Economic Kitchen to include everyone in creating communities where we all feel like we belong.

The Social Table:

Radically accessible “third spaces” in our neighbourhoods where meals are priced at standard "fast-food" rates so cost is not a barrier to cross-cultural connection.
The Share Kai team host 16 events annually across Ōtautahi.

The Economic Kitchen:

Dignified employment - fair wages for former refugee and migrant women.
The Cooks Collective Accelerator - beyond cooking: hands-on training in invoicing, marketing, menu development and event coordination. Practical work experience and income generation through monthly Pop-Up Café in three neighbourhoods throughout Ōtautahi Christchurch.
Our Hospo Work Experience programme supports former refugee rangatahi to gain skills and experience working in the Cooks Collective Café.
