Cooks Collective Catering

Order the Cooks Collective to catering for your next party, conference or team lunch and provide your guests with traditional and beloved food not available elsewhere in Ōtautahi’s hospitality scene!

We offer two catering menus:

  • Inclusive meal - 1 main dish and 1 sweet item. All vegan or vegetarian and gluten-free, in your choice of cuisine - Afghan, Pakistani, Palestinian, Eritrean or Nepali - $20 pp (including GST). Main dishes are traditional curries or stews made with lentils or chickpeas and vegetables served with rice and a seasonal side vegetable. Please inquire about your preferred cuisine on order.

  • Mixed finger food menu - consisting of a mix of traditional snack sized dishes from two - three cuisines (Afghan, Eritrean, Palestinian or Nepali) covering a range of dietary needs including meat (halal), vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free. Each order includes 4 savory items & 2 sweet items - $20 pp (including GST). Snack dishes made include items such as Nepali momos (steamed dumplings), Afghan bolani (stuffed flat breads), Eritrean injera rolls (sourdough pancake wrapped around meat or vegan sauce), Palestinian basbousa cake (semolina and syrup cake). A menu will be provided upon inquiry.

    For large events where the order is for over 60 people our Cooks Collective members maybe available to join to help with service. Please enquire on ordering.

All dishes are freshly prepared in response to your order and delivered to your venue. Locations outside of the city centre may incur a $10 deliver fee.

Please provide our cooks with at least 7 working days’ notice before placing your order. Catering orders have a minimum of 10 servings.
