Weave Funding
In July Mahia te Aroha and InCommon headed to Auckland to pitch our Share Kai programme to one of our nation’s most exciting country-wide funders – Weave (formerly the ‘Working Together More Fund’).
Share Kai and Kōrero with the St Albans Community Centre
Did you join us in July to try some zalabiyeh (Middle Eastern/North African round donuts, pictured above), Afghan potato kuku (frittata) or sel roti (Nepali rice flour fried bread)?
We partnered with the St Albans Community Centre for a second series of Share Kai and Kōrero featuring brunch menus from our Cooks Collective.

We’ve been testing the waters with a new way of bringing people together over tasty food by hosting Friday evening events throughout February and early March at a developing community space, the Stanmore Yard and Commons at 97 Stanmore Road.
