Event Title: Share Kai in Solidarity with Palestine

Event Description: Join us for dinner, meet others and show your support for the Palestinian community.

What to expect on the night:

  • Kai: A delicious traditional Nusantara (Indonesian, Singaporean, and Malaysian cuisine) meal, cooked by wonderful cooks from Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia, supported by Bali Thai. Stay tuned for the menu release!

  • Fundraising: meals are $30 for a main and sweet, you can choose between vegan or halal chicken (both gluten-free). Drinks are $5. This event is a fundraiser for Palestine, all proceeds from your meal goes to humanitarian aid for Gaza.

  • No bookings: Join us on the night, we accept cash and PayWave. Dine in between 5.30 - 8pm. See RSVP note below!

  • Connection: you’ll be seated next to others and we invite you to have a chat with others around the table with connection cards that nudge you to talk and get to know each other.

RSVP Information: our team will cater for lots of diners - we encourage you to arrive throughout the night from 5.30 - 7.30pm to spread out the dining time.

Come along, bring your whānau (family) and friends, and your appetite! We look forward to meeting you.

Note: This event is led by InCommon, a community organisation that encourages people to reach out across cultures and faiths to make Canterbury a place where everyone feels they belong, in partnership with Sow A Lyttel Seed and St Barnabas Church.
