Event Title: Share Kai in Solidarity with Ukraine.
Event Description: Join us for dinner and show your support for the Ukrainian community during this challenging time.
What to expect on the night:
Kai: A delicious Indonesian meal, cooked by the Ukrainian Association of the South Island. Menu to be released prior to July 19th, stay tuned!
Traditional folk songs: the Ukrainian a cappella group will perform two rounds of traditional folk songs for diners during the evening.
Fundraising: meals are $30 for a main and sweet, you can choose between a vegetarian or halal meat option. Drinks are $5. This event is a fundraiser for Ukraine, all proceeds from your meal goes to humanitarian aid.
No bookings: Join us on the night, we accept cash and PayWave.
Connection: you’ll be seated next to others and we invite you to have a chat with others around the table with connection cards that nudge you to talk such as – "What's your go to comfort food?", "Who taught you to cook?" and “What’s your most memorable meal?”.
RSVP Information: there is no need to RSVP, however, arriving as close to 5.30pm as possible is recommended to avoid disappointment!
